The development of a new $3.6m heritage centre on Stewart Island will create a regionally and nationally significant tourist attraction for visitors to learn about and experience the colourful history of Stewart Island / Rakiura and help provide information about all Stewart Island has to offer.
The Island’s rich heritage will be interpreted and displayed in an exciting way to encourage renewed interest and a sense of belonging for the many residents and descendants of Stewart Island / Rakiura families.
We are seeking donations towards this exciting project for Stewart Island / Rakiura. Stay in touch and help us on this journey to create an amazing heritage feature for Stewart Island / Rakiura.
